Public Service Pledge & Local Community Service

Civic engagement starts with a single action, and this is your chance to lead one. We are seeking a civic-minded Superhero ready to commit 10 hours of impactful public service or volunteering in their local community. This challenge allows for broad interpretation, focusing on activities that support the general well-being of society and local institutions. Examples include volunteering at a local museum, tutoring children, organizing science-related activities for kids, working at a homeless shelter, or assisting with food distribution and food bank organization.

The core requirement is dedicated, hands-on volunteering that benefits the public. The Challenger suggests the Superhero consider donating the challenge funds (donation amount to be defined by the Challenger) to a homeless shelter or local public service organization but leaves the final choice to the Superhero. Verifiable proof of the 10 hours of service is required.
